Hello, I am also researching my family tree and have discovered that my oldest ancestor is Georg Friedrich Dorsten, who had children in the Prussian (now Polish) town of Lubawka. There, the surname changed to two variants: Dorst and Dorsch. My ancestor then emigrated to the Kingdom of Bohemia, where the surname Durst became established. According to my DNA test, my family comes from the area of today's Netherlands and its surroundings. Is it possible that we are related in some way?
